Wish you all a great Sunday!
Today I was painting my nails with one of the nudes of OPI from their Brazil Collection, which is just released in February. Then I was like, wait a minute, this one reminds me of another pretty nude which I just happened to review... So I snapped a few photos to show you that.
Meet OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around (I always find the names of their polishes so much fun).

I really like Brazil Collection, which is full of gorgeous cremes to wear all year around. You can find all the shades swatched at PolishAholic. My choices are Live.Love.Carnaval, Next Stop Bikini Zone, Taupe-less Beach and Where did Suzi's Man-go and Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. I am trying hard not to get more of these though.

Don't Bossa Nova Me Around has some pink and even lavender in the mix to brighten up your nails and avoids them from looking dull. I really like the formula too. It is a little thick but if you like you can even get along with just one coat, which is really rare for such a light shade. And one more bonus, it is in no ways streaky.

So here is the surprise of this post, OPI's new shade Don't Bossa Nova Me Around looks similar to the new Spring/Summer Nude of Tom Ford, Sugar Dune! Do you remember how much I was in love with that shade? Check out the review post to see that I haven't found anything remotely close in my mini(!) nail polish stash. Well, things change, take a look at it yourself...

They are not dupes but certainly they are very close. A lovely reader Siri Lovise Eliassen asked me to find a dupe for Sigar Dune. I can happily say that you can go with this $7 bottle if you are reluctant to invest your $$$s on Mr.Ford's Sugar Dune. As for the differences, OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around is slightly lighter (whiter) and slightly cooler, which tells me, some of you who found TF one to be not very flattering (especially on lighter skin tones) might find OPI to be a better match. Carefully I have to write one more thing here, I do prefer OPI DBNMA's formula and opaqueness to TF's SD. Just saying.

Final thoughts: I am loving OPI's Brazil Collection and one of the shades I do enjoy very much at the moment is happened to be very close to Tom Ford's Sugar Dune, which was the favorite nail polish from his Spring/Summer Lip/Nail Collection.
Are you eyeing any of the polishes from OPI Brazil Collection?
